Medium ceramic mug, holds roughly 11 oz. (300 mL). This mug was handmade on the wheel. The glaze is the result of the layering of several different glazes that achieve a unique effect. This mug will never be repeated. 



All of my pieces are glazed individually which gives them their unique quality. I try to give every piece its individual touch, and while I may repeat certain combinations the result is never the same. 



The colours in this piece are achieved through the use of oxides of cobalt and titanium, the clay is a black stoneware that has been fired to vitrification and is very durable. The glaze is a soft satiny matte with loads of small crystals embedded in the surface. 



The cup is non-toxic, dishwasher safe, but not microwave safe. I use my own pottery every day, and it goes through all the same processes that any commercial pottery goes through.
