New style hanging planter, thrown on the wheel. Meant to hold a plastic planter hidden within the ceramic pot. Water can drain past the plastic planter into the basin below  The planter can be attached with either a thick hemp cord, lamp chain, or metal aviation wire, you get to decide. 



This planter is made with a beige stoneware with a red iron wash.  The planter has a wash but is unglazed.   I fit the wire to hang at about 2.5 feet from the ceiling to the bottom of the pot.



The dimensions for the choice of size refers to the interior width at the rim, which can accommodate many standard variations of plastic liner pots. The interior depth of the planters is roughly 2/3 that of their width: the 4" wide would be around 2.75" deep, the 6" is around 4" deep, The 8" is about 5.5 inches deep, and the 10" is about 6.5" deep. There is some variation from planter to planter. If you need a specific size let me know and we will make arrangements.



For the type of hanging material, I recommend the any of the three choices (hemp, aviation wire, lamp chain) if used indoors only. If you are planning on using the planter outside I recommend the aviation wire or lamp chain, as exposure to UV rays and rain will deteriorate the hemp over a few years.
